To SHS senior rowers:
In recognition of the excellent work each team member does, FOSC invites and encourages:
• Every Senior Female to apply for the Barbara Grant Donahue Essay Award and the Caron & Krause Family Scholarship.
• Every Senior Male to apply for the Irving James Donahue Jr. Memorial Essay Award and the Kenneth F. Burns Memorial Scholarship.
Each essay award is $250.00 and the Kenneth F. Burns Memorial Scholarship and the Caron & Krause Family Scholarship are $500.00 each.
Coach Matt Hastings, Coach Chris Noble, plus any additional coaches as well as any F.O.S.C. Scholarship Committee members not having a senior that can apply will determine the scholarship and essay awards.

Please place your completed application in a sealed envelope with your name on it before giving it to Karin Whitten or to another member of the Scholarship Committee at the boathouse on Monday, May 18, 2020. If organized team activities do not resume before May 18th, applications can be dropped off or mailed to 121 Maple Avenue, Shrewsbury by May 18th.
One Essay Only: Every senior applying for an essay award is considered for the Kenneth F. Burns Memorial Scholarship or Caron & Krause Family Scholarship if she or he applies for it. Each senior needs to write only one essay which will be used in determining both the recipients for the essay awards and the recipient for the scholarship.
