New Boat Dedication
In late 2017, the Friends of Shrewsbury Crew kicked-off our Fund the Fleet fundraising campaign with the goal of purchasing two new boats for the boys’ and girls’ crew teams. We are pleased to report that this goal has been achieved and construction of the boats is complete! We will be holding a dedication ceremony on Saturday, September 29th at 9:00 a.m. at the Donahue Rowing Center (237 N. Quinsigamond Ave., Shrewsbury). The ceremony will honor the individuals for whom each boat is named. Members of the community are welcome and are encouraged to attend.
Learn to Row
Immediately following the new boat dedication, FOSC will be hosting our Learn to Row event. Parents get the opportunity to experience what it’s like to row crew. Further details on this event will be coming soon, so hold the date!
