Race Information for 10/7 Regatta – IMPORTANT UPDATES

IMPORTANT UPDATES FOR SUNDAY’S REGATTA:

We want to make you aware that there will be volunteers at the DRC gate collecting a requested donation of $5 per adult over the age of 18. This is per request of the race organizers and is implemented at Regatta Point as well.

Please remember to be cognizant of the parking restrictions:

The only parking that will exist on North Quinsigamond Ave will be from the State Boat Ramp, back towards the traffic lights on Main St. There is to be no parking south of the DRC.  No spectator parking will be allowed in the USPS facility, the State Boat Ramp, or on any part of the DRC property.  Police will be present to assist in this.  Due to anticipated heavy parking, the race directors have set up additional parking with a shuttle system from Shrewsbury High School to the DRC. Anyone parked illegally will be towed. Regatta volunteers will be required to adhere to these rules as well. Additionally, there will be signs posted along the road regarding parking restrictions.

It is recommended that you arrive 15 minutes before the shift you volunteered for to settle in and get your instructions.
